A new innovative current controller for selective harmonic compensation using active power filters in a microgrid with renewable energy source

<span lang="EN-US">In this paper, a novel current controller for selective compensation with active power filter (APF) in microgrid (MG) is proposed. Power generation sinusoidal voltage and high quality essential the microgrid. Hence, control-based method shunt filters aiming to compensate harmonic Also, source converter used APF improve MG quality. Using suggested control can reduce total distortion (THD). The obtained results from MATLAB simulations proved superior of our than other methods decrease an admissible area. Additionally, practical implementation proposed approach on actual confirm efficacy method.</span>
